Specialişti de la Universitatea Harvard au studiat timp de opt ani predispoziţia la cancer a peste 26.000 de persoane din Grecia, ajungând la concluzia că cei care urmau o dietă bogată în fructe şi legume şi săracă în carne roşie şi lactate prezintă un risc de îmbolnăvire mult mai mic.
Potrivit cercetărorilor, cea mai bună “reţetă” pentru prevenirea cancerului cuprinde renunţarea la fumat, exerciţiile fizice şi evitarea cărnii şi a grăsimilor saturate, în favoarea fructelor şi legumelor.
“Persoanele care vor să reducă riscul de apariţie a cancerului ar trebui să mănânce mai multe cereale integrale, fructe şi legume şi să renunţe, pe cât posibil, la carnea roşie, sare şi la mâncărurile foarte bogate în calorii”, a spus Rachel Thompson, manager al Fundaţiei pentru Studierea Cancerului.
Grupe alimentare recomandate: fructe, legume, produse din cereale (inclusiv pâine integrală), grăsimi monosaturate (ulei de măsline), peşte.(EVZ.ro)
