YouTube va bloca accesul la videoclipurile muzicale germane

Reprezentanţii YouTube au anunţat că vor bloca accesul la toate videoclipurile muzicale din Germania. Motivul: GEMA, autoritatea care încasează drepturile de autor în această ţară, solicită un tarif de un cent pentru fiecare vizualizare a unui clip video.

Potrivit newteevee.com, citat de Antena3.ro, această solicitare nu corespunde cu politica site-ului, care menţine gratuit accesul la fişierele publicate. Pe de cealaltă parte, reprezentanţii GEMA consideră că YouTube încearcă să profite de pe urma videoclipurilor fără ca autorii să beneficieze de nimic.

În plus, GEMA acuză YouTube că ascunde numărul real de vizualizatori ai videoclipurilor. Potrivit organizaţiei germane, numărul celor care vizualizează filmuleţele de pe YouTube este mult mai mare decât cel declarat.

Nu este pentru prima oară când YouTube se confruntă cu o astfel de problemă. Luna trecută, oficialii YouTube au interzis accesul la videoclipurile muzicale din Marea Britanie din acelaşi motiv ca şi în cazul Germaniei: banii.
