Tramvaiul 34 circula intre Vitan si Ghencea

O nouă garnitură va intra în circulaţie în mai puţin de o săptămână pe linia 34, care asigură legătura între Calea Vitan şi Bulevardul Ghencea. Deşi au fost testate la deschiderea pasajului Basarab, trenurile nu vor opri încă pe pod. Şi asta pentru că scările rulante şi lifturile care asigură tranzitul pietonal vor fi gata abia peste două luni.
Costă aproape 1 milion de euro şi este construit în uzina de la Bucureşti. Până acum sunt gata cinci trenuri, urmând ca încă cinci să intre în circulaţie până la sfârşitul anului. Prototipul circulă în Capitală din 2010.
Trenul va asigura transportul pe linia 34, cea mai lungă rută din Bucureşti, între Calea Vitan şi Bulevardul Ghencea. (A3)
