Pe numele său adevărat Sandra Ann Lauer, cântăreaţa s-a născut în Germania pe 18 mai 1962. Prima sa melodie care a cunscut succesul a fost “Maria Magdalena”, în 1985. Vocea sa a fost folosită şi pentru proiectul Enigma al fostului său soţ Michael Creţu.
În concertele din turneul Sandrei din această toamnă vor fi incluse şi melodii care au făcut-o celebră în anii ’80, precum “Maria Magdalena”, “In the heat of the night”, “Everlasting Love” sau “Hi Hi Hi”, dar şi piese de pe cel mai nou album al său, “Back to live”, lansat în luna martie a acestui an.
